The toilet training problems with my son Caleb were impacting my entire life as well as my families. My home and social circle including church were greatly affected. Even Caleb's social life was impacted since no children wanted to play with him because he often had accidents and smelled. Toilet training problems were adding to an already difficult situation causing anxiety and frustration that was disrupting our entire life. And, Caleb's toilet training regression was being used against me to make it appear and feeling like I was a failure as a parent.
Toilet Training problems placed high demands on time, energy, finances and peace of mind. Caleb's toilet training problems were interfering with achieving the goals I had set for my whole family in our new life.
Can you relate to what I was going through? Have you already tried toilet training your child but keep running into problems? You're running late, juggling your car keys, cell phone and diaper bag when you realize that your little darling has just had another "Accident."
Are you so frustrated you just want to scream?
Maybe you have problems like he will sit on the toilet and do nothing but then, five minutes after you put on a fresh diaper, he poops in it. Or maybe your child just won’t stop playing long enough to take a toilet break. So he pees in the floor. How about when you think every thing is fine until you get that note from the day care center saying your child can’t advance to the next class?
You are already frustrated with all those "accidents" that seem to happen at the most inappropriate times. You don't need this kind of pressure. Do you just wish you could get past this phase of life and just e done with it? You are looking for that magic toilet training tip that will end all your troubles.
Don't let toilet training problems ruin your life!
I am writing to you today because I see so many parents make the same mistakes over and over again while toilet training their children. I even made some of the same mistakes. I feel and understand your frustration when your child has toilet accidents. I see the pressure you put on yourself to get your child toilet trained before a certain age or to get him moved up to another class. I also felt these same pressures when my children were about to start preschool.
Every day, I experience the power struggles that develop between you and your toddler. You are frustrated, your child is frustrated and you are looking for someone to blame. In fact, the one person that typically gets blamed the most isyou. Your child may even begin to wonder if he is loved at all because you are constantly fussing about toilet training. You begin to feel as if your child is trying to punish or play games with you by failing to use the potty.
I have had two boys in preschool in the last five years. Talking with the teachers and substitutes I have had them tell me "All we do is go to the toilet all day!" We do a lot more, but because toilet training is such an important part of what we do, it can seem like it is our primary focus. So, parents often ask me what is the best or quickest way to toilet train their child.
Understanding How Children Think Is The Key To Successful Child Toilet Training!
As a parent of three children and the desire to help other parents, I wanted a toilet training method parents can use that builds their self esteem because it will help them prepare for learning other skills as they grow. My research lead me to develop a method for dealing with toilet training problems. Not only does this method provide toilet training tips and techniques, but it also lays out a step by step procedure that is easy for you to follow and easy for your child to learn. In fact, your child will think the whole process is just a fun time with mommy or daddy and will offer no resistance at all.
This course has the most effective and easy to use method I have used. Often I am helping parents worldwide helping them as well as their children overcome the challenges they have faced with toilet training. I have been able to use one of the elements I teach in this course with many parents. Quite frequently I receive emails from parents dealing with a child who is unable or refuses to poop. Once child had been unable to poop in the toilet until now. Yesterday, using the techniques explained in chapter seven, he was able to relax and poop in the toilet for the first time at day care. He was so proud of himself!
Imagine the feeling of joy and lightness you will have because you no longer have to carry that huge diaper bag every where you go. Imagine the money you could save on diapers by using a toilet training method that works quickly and easily. And think how much better your child will feel about himself when he can use the toilet instead of having to wear a wet smelly diaper until you get a chance to change him.
I was able to quickly get Caleb to use the potty in an amazing and almost too easy method. To successfully potty train a child quickly and easily, you need a method that works with your toddler’s natural tendencies. Because toddlers are mirrors of the emotions of their caretakers, you need a training method that will allow you to keep a relaxed emotional state while training. You need to know how to establish the right environment that promotes learning.
Many of the traditional training methods I have seen in practice for years are brutal and stressful for both the parent and the child. The result has been that toilet training takes weeks or months instead of hours. Because many parents try to exert authority and use force to teach toilet training, many relationships between children and parents have been permanently scared. Just a few days ago, I read another news article about a parent arrested for abusing their toddler due to the frustrations of incorrect toilet training methods.
